CVE-2026-87987

CRITICALPre-NVD 10.010.0
EchelonGraph scoreMEDIUM confidence

This critical-severity CVE scores 10.0 under a secondary CVSS source (NVD's own analysis pending). EPSS exploit probability: 0.3%, top 74% of all CVEs by exploit prediction. GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).

No vendor fix yet — apply a workaround or compensating control (WAF / firewall / segmentation) and watch for a patch.

An arbitrary code execution vulnerability in Mistral Vibe allows an attacker to bypass command permission checks using environment variable assignments preceding allowlisted commands. These assignments are excluded from inspection, enabling attacker-controlled environment variables to cause arbitrary code execution without user approval.
