CVE-2026-64685

MEDIUMPre-NVD 5.35.3
EchelonGraph scoreMEDIUM confidence

This medium-severity CVE scores 5.3 under a secondary CVSS source (NVD's own analysis pending). EPSS exploit probability: 0.2%, top 90% of all CVEs by exploit prediction. GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).

No vendor fix yet — apply a workaround or compensating control (WAF / firewall / segmentation) and watch for a patch.

ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. In versions prior to 7.1.2-27, the BGR decoder does not check for an end-of-file in every location so a crafted image could result in an heap buffer over-read. This issue has been fixed in version 7.1.2-27.
