CVE-2026-63118

MEDIUMPre-NVD 6.96.9
EchelonGraph scoreMEDIUM confidence

This medium-severity CVE scores 6.9 under a secondary CVSS source (NVD's own analysis pending). EPSS exploit probability: 0.2%, top 91% of all CVEs by exploit prediction. GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).

MCP Ruby SDK is the official Ruby SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. Prior to 0.23.0, MCP::Server::Transports::StreamableHTTPTransport in the mcp gem does not validate the HTTP Host or Origin request headers, which allows a malicious browser page to use DNS rebinding to reach a locally running MCP server and invoke exposed tools. This issue is fixed in version 0.23.0.
