EchelonGraph scoreLOW confidence

This medium-severity CVE scores 4.9 under the CNA's CVSS (NVD's own analysis pending). EPSS exploit-prediction score not yet available (the EPSS model rescores nightly; freshly-published CVEs typically appear within 48 hours). GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).

OpenWrt is a Linux operating system targeting embedded devices. Prior to 25.12.5, the cgi-download handler in cgi-io authorizes the requested path against the caller's ubus session file ACL before canonicalization, and rpcd session.c uses fnmatch() without FNM_PATHNAME, allowing traversal such as an allowed wildcard prefix followed by ../ to read root-readable files including /etc/shadow. This vulnerability is fixed in 25.12.5.
