CVE-2026-52759

MEDIUMPre-NVD 5.55.5—
EchelonGraph scoreMEDIUM confidence

This medium-severity CVE scores 5.5 under the CNA's CVSS (NVD's own analysis pending). EPSS exploit probability: 0.2%, top 95% of all CVEs by exploit prediction. GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).

No fix is confirmed yet — apply a workaround or compensating control (WAF / firewall / segmentation) and watch for the fix.

Ghidra before 12.1.1 contains an uncontrolled memory allocation vulnerability in the Mach-O binary parser that allows attackers to cause denial of service. An attacker can supply a crafted Mach-O binary with an arbitrarily large ncmds load command count value, forcing the parser to allocate excessive heap memory without validating file size, crashing the Ghidra JVM.
