CVE-2026-49498

HIGHPre-NVD 8.88.8
EchelonGraph scoreMEDIUM confidence

This high-severity CVE scores 8.8 under a secondary CVSS source (NVD's own analysis pending). EPSS exploit probability: 0.3%, top 83% of all CVEs by exploit prediction. GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).

Ghidra 11.0 before 12.1 contains a SQL injection vulnerability in the changePassword() method of PostgresFunctionDatabase that fails to escape double quotes in usernames interpolated into ALTER ROLE statements. Authenticated attackers can inject SQL commands via crafted username parameters in PasswordChange network messages to escalate to PostgreSQL superuser privileges and gain full database control.
