OpenClaw versions 2026.1.29-beta.1 prior to 2026.2.14 contain a vulnerability in the sandbox browser bridge server in which it accepts requests without requiring gateway authentication, allowing local attackers to access browser control endpoints. A local attacker can enumerate tabs, retrieve WebSocket URLs, execute JavaScript, and exfiltrate cookies and session data from authenticated browser contexts.
CVE-2026-28468
This high-severity CVE scores 7.7 under NVD CVSS v3. EPSS exploit-prediction score not yet available (the EPSS model rescores nightly; freshly-published CVEs typically appear within 48 hours). GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).
- High severity, but no confirmed exploitation yet
No vendor fix yet — apply a workaround or compensating control (WAF / firewall / segmentation) and watch for a patch.
