CVE-2026-12566

LOWPre-NVD 3.13.1
EchelonGraph scoreMEDIUM confidence

This low-severity CVE scores 3.1 under a secondary CVSS source (NVD's own analysis pending). EPSS exploit probability: 0.2%, top 94% of all CVEs by exploit prediction. GitHub Security Advisory data not yet ingested — confidence will rise once GHSA publishes (typical lag: hours to days for open-source ecosystem CVEs; never for infrastructure-only CVEs).

No vendor fix yet — apply a workaround or compensating control (WAF / firewall / segmentation) and watch for a patch.

The docker_pull module uses the realm parameter from a Docker registry's WWW-Authenticate response header as the authentication endpoint without validation. An attacker in a man-in-the-middle position between bbot and a Docker registry could modify this header to redirect the authentication request to an arbitrary endpoint, potentially leaking authentication tokens.
